| Yes I do, try to have more conversation with local worker. They will teach u some rule |

| 6) So what’s your experience with food been like in Singapore? Did you face any problems adapting? I know tourists/expats/new comers who have had issues with foreigners causing all sorts of digestive problems. |
| The food in Singapore is very diverse, I kept trying different food in the first 3 month I |
| came here and it’s not so bad at all. |
| 7) Did you face any problems communicating with the locals in Singaporeans on a daily basis? If you do, describe some of the challenges you face in communicating with the locals? |
| Many Singaporean can speak dialect and Cantonese very well, and I will get lost when |
| they communicate in those languages. |

| Try to listen carefully every time and kindly ask the meaning of part that I don’t |
| understand, Watch local videos on YouTube ,sometimes there are many advertisers that are |
| using Singlish. Try to understand and speak. |

| Local Chinese will use more new vocabulary during the conversation but Singaporean will not |

| Yes , In the case of group discussion for project, it is always subdivided into a number of steps, |
| And each member has his/her own ideas, seems to take a long time to arrive at a satisfactory solution. |

| Understand opposite side mind and clearly express my own thoughts |
| For example, I negotiated my wage with HR department. |
| I know that when the company hire a foreigner, the company need pay tax to government, |
| but I also showed my certifications and working attitudes and experiences to them, indicating what I can bring into |
| the company and what contribution I could make. Finally they give me an employee pass. |
